Abdulfatai Oyedele was born in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State on the 17th of November 1984. He attended the famous Ijebu Muslim College in Ijebu Ode, for his Secondary School Education between 1995 to 2001. After his Secondary School Education, he was admitted at the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State in 2001 where he bagged both the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Certificates in Maas Communication in 2006. Abdulfatai had his National Youth Service Corp at the prestigious NTA Television College in Jos between 2007 – 2008. In his quest for acquisition of knowledge and love for the law profession, he proceeded to the Olabisi Onabanjo University where he graduated with LL.B. Hons, Second Class Upper Division (2015). He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016.
After his call to Bar, Abdulfatai started his career as a legal practitioner in the law firm of Sam Ologunorisa (SAN) & Co., Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.
Abdulfatai has been practicing law for almost 8 years and his expertise cut across the interesting practice areas of Regulatory Compliance, Due Diligence, Criminal Law, Family Law, Constitutional Matters, Company Secretariat, Property, Oil and Gas, Taxation, and Election Petitions. Abdulfatai has successfully prepared and argued briefs on innovative cases before the Trial and Appellate Courts in Nigeria. He is a versatile lawyer with an in-depth knowledge of the practice of law in all hierarchies of Court in Nigeria. He has represented a number of private, governmental and non-governmental clients in several matters with a couple of interesting Appellate decisions to his credit.
Abdulfatai Oyedele is the Managing Partner of Vantage Attorney LP. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK); and a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the International Bar Association (IBA). He is equally a member of the Litigation and Arbitration Committees of the International Bar Association. Abdulfatai has served as a researcher to the Arbitral Tribunal at the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Paris, France. He recently completed a Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. Abdulfatai is also a member of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
